100 % HALAL CERTIFIED

‘Halal’ is the Arabic term for permissible/clean. Foods that comply with Islamic requirements are labelled as ‘HALAL’. In order to be halal certified, foods must comply with halal standards throughout the entire process chain, from slaughter to the ingredients and production, packaging, cleaning and transportation. Certification bodies perform spot checks to ensure compliance with halal standards.

The processes at our chicken factory comply with HALAL Professional Institut (HaPI) standards. When developing the Halal criteria, care was taken to reconcile the requirements of as many Muslim groups as possible. As a result, we are the only frozen convenience poultry producer that offers a fully halal certified complete product range. 2 years of hard work were required by our Purchasing, Production and Quality Management teams to achieve this accolade. We can now proudly say that our entire HANNA Premium product line is 100 % halal certified, making tasty chicken available to everyone!
